In 2024, Vietnam's tuna industry impressed with the export turnover of US $ 989 million, an increase of 17% compared to 2023. Among the tuna export markets, the US is the most imported market in Vietnam with the proportion of more than 39% of the total export turnover. Therefore, businesses are very concerned about trade policies, especially the tariff levels that the Trump administration can apply to countries that are having a big trade deficit with the US, including Vietnam.
